Snowblowing for Beginners

Retiring of the Shovels

When we moved here, we bought about 5 shovels. I know a little OCD on my part but hey we were prepared. Shoveling got old last winter and after the 3rd storm this year we were pittied by our neighbor who gave us his snowblower to use before he went to Florida. I know Adam thought the 3 car garage was great but he did not imagine the driveway that goes with it in the winter. Hooray for Snowblowers!!

This is what the ice storm looks like. It coats everything. We were not hit as bad as some others farther East. I think it looks like it is crying to be painted(Barb). It actually coats everything and is interesting to look at.
OK all my blogging friends ....How do I post more than one picture?

Wild New Years NIght

Here are Kyle and Cody going to a new years Eve party at a friends house. They have managed to find a great group of guys to hang out with. I cannot complain. I definitely do not worry with these boys.
Ok we knew when we moved here that there could be wildlife. We had heard of Moose and Bears and were cautioned not to put up bird feeders but as time has gone on we have seen the wildlife!!! The pics are of tracks just outside our back door. The boys tried to tell me it was bear but I think Raccoon and something else. We have seen a fox and the neighbors told us there was a momma bear and her 2 cubs in our yard on Thanksgiving. Welcome to the NorthEast!! I wonder what is over the hedge?
